About Big4 Auditor Carousel

Hi, I’m John McKune, a former auditor at a Big 4 firm. During my time as an auditor, I saw clients come and go all the time.  Sometimes it felt like a giant merry go round.  One day, I wondered, “Does anyone track changes related to Big4 audit firms, and do they summarize it nicely (and for free)?”  The answer was a big, “No,” and so, the Big4 Auditor Carousel was born.

Each week, I track client changes in the Big4 and post a summary.  The data is pulled from from the SEC website. In addition to providing a table with the changes, I try to highlight anything that may be interesting, unusual, or laugh out loud funny. 8-K’s that are funny? Trust me, every so often one comes through that is hilarious.

So grab a horse, hop on, and take a spin on the Big4 Auditor Carousel.

Oh, and if tracking Big 4 auditor changes just isn’t enough for you, I track all audit firm changes on a sister site, The Auditor Carousel. Check it out!

Just one disclaimer; while I make a reasonable effort to ensure the data here is accurate, I don’t suggest you rely on it, and encourage you to instead refer to www.sec.gov.
