Big4 Auditor Changes week ending 19 Jul 2015

KPMG lost three clients this week, and all of them chose to go with non-Big4 firms. That got me thinking; I can’t recall the last time KPMG was let go and replaced with another Big4 firm. Looking back through the archives, you have to go all the way back to the first week of May to find the last time it happened. In the months since, KPMG lost about a dozen clients, all of them choosing smaller firms. Grant Thornton and BDO are the biggest beneficiaries. Is KPMG just a stepping stone out of the Big4?
