Big4 Auditor Changes week ending 17 Aug 2014

While I was off relaxing in the mountains, the Big4 auditor carousel picked up some steam.  After a competitive bid process, EY took three seemingly related companies from PwC. PwC then returned the favor by taking Dutch company Vistaprint from EY.

Fusion Telecommunications let go of KPMG because of uncertainty around when KPMG would complete review procedures. Up until a few months ago, Fusion was a Rothstein Kass client. Then KPMG acquired Rothstein and took over as Fusion auditor. Seems that KPMG couldn’t meet Fusion’s timetable, so the (now former) client went elsewhere.
